Crash and watch list

Seriosuly, it crashing every single time I click a bit too "fast" on the watching list, adding a stock there... Very frustrating!! Also I cant watch my watching list by volume or price!!! Only % and $. Seriously? Fix it for 5 stars otherwise.

French version

hello, do you make a French version of the application?

Do not install

No customer service, only english, account restrited without reasons.

Account Settings Crash

Every time i go to change some of my account Settings the eTrade App crashs down every time. I would like to manage my money every time i want too. But thats not possible right now. So please hurry up and fix that issue.

Still no iPhone 6 optimization

Its a shame its still not optimized for the new iPhone 6 and 6+...

Rollercoaster ride

iPhone 6+ on latest iOS version. App crashes more often (3+ times a week) and has errors displaying portfolio balance. Downgrading to 2 star instead of 3 until problems are consistently hammered out.

Gets the job done..

Gets it done. Minor bug fixes in regards to speed and efficiency could be beneficial...the only easy day, was yesterday.

Crashes

Crashed 3x trying to get quotes on SPX options. Test before release guys.

Pretty bad

More than half the time it wont even log you it. It verifies your credentials and then never progressed to your account. Closing the app and trying again doesnt help, it seems like their backend is broken a lot or something

E*Trade Financial

Ive had a good experience using Etrade in general, but the app needs some polishing. Its functional but it could be better. Ive never had an issue logging in, but the app has crashed a couple of times.

Not too great for a poor millennial like me

I used E*TRADE for buying stocks and the app worked fine. Having the analyst reports for many stocks was also a great feature. However, I quickly found out I would lose a lot of money if I continued paying $9.99 per trade (only investing $500-$1500 because remember, Im a poor millennial). I found Robinhood, which has been a fantastic alternative. They dont charge a cent for trades. They dont have any of the bells or whistles, but you cant beat free. Hope this helps somebody! Choosing a brokerage service is just as important as being a shrewd investor imao

Serves purpose

You can do everything you need on the app. There are some bugs that need to be worked out but you can manage your account successfully.

Cant open an account lol!

Itd be nice if I could actually open an account after installing the app. Guess Ill try one of the other online investment services to stick $385,000 into.

Horrible app

Most horrible app on the App Store, not one feature works, not sure how it even passed QA?

Bad Version

I used to use the E-Trade app all the time, especially for checking market and individual stock activities. But this version barely works. I select the 1day chart and get nothing. I can switch to 3 days or 1 week or month, but I mostly want todays quotes and get nothing, nada, zilch!!! Very frustrating.

Excellent App for brokerage and banking

I use the app mostly on the iPad. Its a great app for an amateur investor. Good source of info from various parties. I dont understand the negative reviews from folks who want cheaper rates for buying and selling stocks. The review should be about the app itself not the cost of trading. I dont care for the low interest rates for Etrade banking either but that has nothing to do with the app.

Works excellent for my needs

If your looking for high frequency trading this might not cut it, but for a half dozen trades a day it works great for me. Trades go through immediately and the app has yet to crash. The notifications are extremely customizable and very useful. The charts could be better and easy access to futures would be nice to have. Real time quotes are available in the app but you have to set it up from the website.

Great app!!

I use this app to keep track and trade company stock.

Confusing and Disjointed

This interface is even less intuitive than the previous. It is disjointed and convoluted at best. Please bring back the option to use an older interface. The interface two versions ago was the best so far. It was much more intuitive and easier to find things as well as navigate through the application. UPDATE: 12-15-15 Where did ESPP go? And why is the data different than what I see when logged into the web page? UPDATE: 07-31-16 The interface has gotten better over time but my one major complaint is why have TouchID support if you still force me to use a password? That is infuriating. I get the need for security and timing out sessions. And I get the need to prompt for a password if my device profile doesnt exist or has changed (e.g. Restored to a new device, etc.). But forcing me to use a password after a week on the same device when I expressly enabled TouchID is infuriating.

Unfortunately the only choice for etrade

When I see a company that I thought I might like with a garbage app it makes me rethink my entire relationship with them. This app is horribly designed. Doesnt flow well. Has way too many alerts that popup as you use it. The login flow is atrocious. Unfortunately, if you choose to use etrade and you want mobile this is what you get.
