A 18th century company...
My complaint with ETrade is they should be a modern, 21st company.
Well, at least one aspect of their processes appears to be MANUAL. (I wont go into the details here.)
They f**k up intermittently and manage to lose my basis costs and arbitrarily split up my lots.
I have complain vociferously any number of times to the representatives over the last few years. The process has yet not been fixed and/or automated.
The customer service people are quite nice about it. They do rectify the problem but if I were them, Id be blushing every time I look over my forest of inkwells and stacks of foolscap....
